THE story

Mayowa Arogundade is a Nigerian-American Creative Executive who merges music, technology, fashion, and culture through creative visuals, marketing campaigns, and product design. He's directed visuals for Kelly Rowland's "K" project and created the "This Is Black Magic" design that went viral after being worn by Jay-Z

Mayowa has also received a Grammy nomination as a producer and creative director and is currently the Creative Director for Blxst and his label imprint at EVGLE.

Mayowa led a team of developers to create a first-of-its-kind 3D, E-Commerce, and Music Streaming site for Blxst, EVGLE, and Red Bull Records during Lollapalooza weekend at

As Creative Director at EVGLE, a dynamic music, media, and venture company, I am charged with securing brand partnerships, directing the overall creative design strategy, overseeing the company's creative department, and leading both online and in-person merchandise strategy.

Additionally, I play a key role in identifying and presenting new artists and producers for the company to sign. My leadership and contributions are integral to driving the company's success and growth.

As the Founder and Creative Director of the lifestyle brand Mazza Madness, I am proud to have established a partnership with the renowned Montage hotel conglomerate Pendry West Hollywood. Through this collaboration, we have created a residency of culturally curated experiences that blend the infectious rhythms of Afro-beats with the latest electronic hip-hop and live band performances, setting a new standard for cultural fusion events.

Our brand's commitment to celebrating and elevating African culture extends beyond our events - we are currently working on launching our inaugural line of premium, culturally-inspired clothing from across the African diaspora.

‘21 – ‘23

As the Creative Marketing Manager at Red Bull Records, I spearheaded numerous projects with various artists on the roster, including unique activations and campaigns. Notably, I collaborated with Amazon Rotation to produce an “Air Evgle” Sky Lounge and led the creative direction for a commemorative collection capsule for Blxst's project, "Before You Go."

My ability to deliver innovative marketing solutions while maintaining a focus on authenticity and creativity has contributed significantly to the success of Red Bull Records and its artists.

‘20 – Now

In 2020, I founded TAP IN XR, a company that specializes in creative content production and marketing. During the company's inception, I directed and produced music videos and TV specials for renowned artists such as Kelly Rowland and Saweetie, while providing creative direction and marketing services for Eric Bellinger, who received a Grammy nomination.

Our client list included some of the names in the industry such as, Warner Music Group, Roc Nation, EMPIRE, Atlantic Records, and UMG. At TAP IN XR, we strive to deliver unparalleled creative solutions that capture the essence of our clients' brands and elevate their presence in the industry.
